Employment Opportunities

Seasonal Help: This position will be 8 hour days 5 days a week during growing season. Interested persons must be at least 18 years of age and able to drive a dually pickup pulling a trailer. Job includes operating commercial grade zero turn mowers, weed eating, and edging all city owned property and including a property in Osage City. Individual must pass a pre-employment drug screen and would be subject to random testing throughout his/her employment with the city. Pay depending on experience.

Pool Manager: Qualified individual must be at least 18 years old and able to take and pass training to be WSI certified. He/She will be responsible for managing and scheduling all lifeguards, swimming lessons, cleanliness of the bathhouse and the pool area. Manager will be accountable for all money that goes through the pool admission and concessions. Position will require a daily inventory of concession stand. Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and subject to random drug testing throughout employment. Pay depending on experience.

Lifeguard: Must be at least 15 years of age or older. Must be able to take and pass CPR and Lifeguard Training. A pre-employment drug screening is required and employee will also be subject to random drug testing throughout employment.
